Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E)

Being an employer, you are responsible for the conditions at work in your Company. Legislation does therefore require that you must have performed a Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E) to identify the health risks of your Organisation.

DISC has the expertise to assist employers with the inventory, verification and evaluation of the risks that can result to possible injury, damage and financial loss. The results are presented in a RI&E after which a project plan can be prepared. The Project Plan includes measures needed to eliminate or reduce the identified risks in the company.

The RI&E is not complete without a project plan and associated advice.

Companies having 10 employees or less can comply in future by using under specific conditions a standard RI&E checklist. The obligatory verification of this document is than not required. The date of introduction of this amendment is probably end 2004. DISC would like to keep you informed as specialist.
